Clinic History

There had not been a clinic in Paisley for many years when we decided to start a clinic in the village. We bought a double lot at the south end of town where the clinic is located now and began to build. We wanted to open in October 1994 so we rented a building (where Gold Mine Pastimes is now located) on main street until the new building was ready.

We had a grand opening in January 1995. A large number of clients, neighbours, family and friends toured our new facility. At our opening there were 4 of us employed. Dr. Tammi Ribey, Dr. Heather Ribey, Elaine McTeer AHT and Vicky AHT. Both Elaine McTeer and Tammi Ribey are still at the clinic today!

The Paisley and area community has been very good to us over the years and the business continues to grow. In 2013 we had outgrown our facility so an addition that is the same size as the original clinic was added on. We had an open house on August 9, 2013. We had a tremendous turnout of clients, neighbours, family and friends. The Paisley 4-H Beef club cooked complimentary hamburgers and hotdogs. We now employ 5 veterinarians, 4 technicians, one receptionist, a cleaner and 2 kennel students.
